The LTBI Clinic at Jeffery Hale offers a service for the evaluation and treatment of latent tuberculosis infection. Consultations are reserved for adults, and are held by referral only when an infection is suspected.

What services does the LTBI Clinic offer?

Assessment of the need for treatment after a person has been in contact with a confirmed case of active tuberculosis or has had a positive screening test result. When treatment is required and accepted by the person, we then offer monthly follow-up for the duration of the treatment.

How to access our services

Consultations are by appointment only, with a referral from a health professional. If you have come in contact with a person who has tuberculosis and are concerned about your state of health:

  • Call Info-Santé 811 (option 1);
  • Consult a healthcare professional.

After consulting with a healthcare professional and if your screening test is positive, you will be referred directly to the LTBI Clinic.
