Register on the waiting list through the Québec Family Doctor Finder

You don’t have a family doctor? You have not yet registered on the waiting list through the Québec Family Doctor Finder? Here is how to register.

Online registration

You can register on the website of the Québec Family Doctor Finder.

Once you have registered, a priority level will be set according to your state of health.

The time it takes to appoint a family doctor will then depend on your priority level and the availability of family doctors in your region.

Once you have been allocated a family doctor, you will receive written or telephone confirmation.

Register or change your registration by telephone

If you do not have access to the Internet, if you have a change to make to your registration or if you need assistance by phone call 418 821-7873 or 1 844-666-2727 (toll-free).

This service is exclusively for the population of the Capitale-Nationale region (Quebec City, Portneuf and Charlevoix):

  • Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except public holidays.

When you call either of these numbers, you can:

  • Register on the waiting list through the Québec Family Doctor Finder (GAMF);
  • Check if you are registered;
  • Update your registration or contact details;
  • Report a change in your state of health;
