At Jeffery Hale Community Services in English, we provide support to people with special needs of all ages and their loved ones. Our ID-PD-ASD services are available to people with:
- An intellectual disability
- A physical disability
- A pervasive developmental disorder or autism spectrum disorder
Services
Our team of social workers, special educators, and nurses offers the following services:
- Psychosocial assessment and follow-up
- Family support
- Collaboration with and referrals to specialized and professional services such as IRDPQ, CRDI, Hôtel-Dieu du Sacré Coeur
- Access to funding programs for respite and in-home care
- Access and referrals to community integration programs (school, work, summer camps, and community activities and events)
Our team also works with other partners such as:
- Jeffery Hale Community Partners (our main partner in the non-profit sector) that provides activities for people with special needs through the community Wellness Centre in the Jeffery Hale Pavilion
- Office des personnes handicapées du Québec
- Association de l’Intégration sociale de Québec
