The goal of Jeffery Hale Community Services is to provide English-speaking seniors with the support they need to remain healthy and autonomous in their own homes, for as long as possible.
Services
Morning phone call
Our dedicated Telephone Check-in volunteers will call you every morning to make sure everything is going well. Unless you specify otherwise, you will receive a call 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Day Centre
We organize a fun and good-for-you activity once a week at Jeffery Hale and in Valcartier and once a month in Portneuf. Our team, composed of specialized educators, an occupational therapist, a nurse, and an attendant who is also our driver, provides the following services:
- A full meal
- Adapted transport by bus or minivan
- Living Room program for seniors with special needs
- Follow-up with a nurse
- Cognitive and physical activities
- Socialization activities
Living Room
The Living Room program is run by the Day Centre and is for seniors who have special needs due to memory loss, a severe physical disability, or other health issue. The groups are smaller than those for Day Centre activities, with a maximum of six people assisted by staff members or volunteers. Caregivers can entrust their loved one to us for the day with peace of mind.
