General psychosocial and mental health services

Are you going through a difficult time? Are you facing a problem or a crisis? Do you have questions about your mental health or that of a loved one? Jeffery Hale Community Services in English offers a lineup of services to help you.

Mental health support and counselling

Our team of social workers will accompany you throughout the process to provide support and follow-up, such as one-one consultations and workshops. We can help you acquire knowledge, develop coping skills and strategies, recognize your strengths, and identify and work on your weaknesses.

Protecting your rights

Do you need help applying for employment assistance (or welfare)? Are you in dispute with your landlord, or someone else? We may be able to point you in the right direction.

Information and referrals

We do our best to ensure you get the services you need by referring you to the appropriate English-speaking professionals for your situation (doctors, dentists, lawyers, psychologists, etc.).

Please note that unlike a regular CLSC, Jeffery Hale Community Services does not have a doctor on staff. If you would like to find a family doctor, please visit: https://www.quebec.ca/en/health/finding-a-resource/registering-with-a-family-doctor
